how can I make a donation to the club?

The Llandudno Surf Lifesaving Club is a voluntary and essential service to the community. We rely on donations, sponsorships and membership fees to keep our equipment in good condition, allow our nippers, juniors and senior lifeguards to compete against other clubs and to keep our club house going.

If you would like to make a donation to the club, please see our bank details below.
We really appreciate all that we get!

how can you get involved with llandudno surf nippers?

It is our aim to make the Nippers section a proactive, involved, exciting team. This can only be achieved if we have an enthusiastic support team - that means you!

There are many areas in which you can contribute - the more helpers there are, the less onerous it becomes for everyone (not to mention that the kids secretly love having their folks involved!) Please let us know where you are willing to assist.

  1. admin & communication
Paperwork for tests and competitions, communication between the club and the parents, general administrative functions, newsletters
  2. training
Assisting with training on a Sunday morning and/or Wednesday evening at the beach. This can be beach work (flags, sprints, beach runs, relays), sea work (malibu, body boards, duck-diving, sea swims), theory (first aid, general safety, signals), pool work (timing for swim tests)
  3. fundraising & sponsorship
Major Fundraising - we need to fund our kit, our equipment, SA champs (in PE this year - transport, accommodation, food, kit)...
On-going fundraising (selling toasties, bacon & egg rolls, tea, coffee, hot chocolate or similar on Sunday mornings during training time)
Sponsorship - preferably for the whole club, but could also be for nipper caps, rash-vests, nipper craft, etc
  4. competitions
Transport of craft & equipment ; managing/co-ordinating an age-group ; assisting with craft readiness and movement of craft between arenas, etc..
  5. awards (tests for each level)
Ensuring swim times are captured before the test dates, accompanying the nippers to the test, ensuring safety officers' presence
  6. craft
Keeping the craft in good condition - all craft, especially the malibus, need ongoing maintenance ; Sourcing additional craft ; waxing up craft for training and competitions
